Hi! I’m Kanine, a teenage girl with an obsession for Star Trek, cats, reading, and writing. I love saying goofy stuff, and always have a witty remark to just about everything! (Even if I probably shouldn’t be saying it…) My favorite books I’ve read are Keeper of the Lost Cities, Warriors, and Harry Potter. When I’d finished rereading those a dozen times too many, I found myself hungering for a new story- and was forced to resort to writing my own novel. No surprise, I loved it! I’ve been writing all my life, from short stories about unicorns when I was nine, (yes, really- what’s wrong with unicorns?) to Shadow’s Edge, my first novel, at fourteen. When I’m not writing, I’m probably rewatching Star Trek episodes, dreaming up new worlds, and/or wishing I could be petting my cat.
